Canon IXUS 110 IS

Canon IXUS 110 IS are quite thick and quite heavy when compared with the latest pocket cameras that seems to race to be the thinnest. But when you find a camera that is capable of making a reliable result of shooting, then Canon IXUS 110 IS is the right choice.

Menu structure shown on its 2.8 inches screen is easily understood even though for common users. Unfortunately, the buttons set is a little confusing. The order of the camera buttons is different from mostly digital cameras and need time to adapt to the function of each of the key. However, after having a good introduction on it, there would be no more problems concerning the operation.

Most of the camera settings is done automatically and the user need not think too much to operate the camera. The good news is that this system is working well and the result is not disappointing. The lens mounted is good and no symptoms of barrel distortion although chromatic aberration still slightly visible. But as long as you do not print more than the size of A2 the flaw is not visible.

The captured shot is sharp and clear while the color is also reproduced well. There are symptoms of noise when using ISO 400 and above but it is no point to use higher ISO than that even though the camera will allow up to ISO 1600. In almost all cases, Canon IXUS 110 IS is working well and not disappointing, including in twilight condition.

Interestingly, the performance of this camera is as good as the result's shots. The time taken between when the camera is off and ready to take a picture is only about 1 second. The pause between one shot taking to the next picture taking is also not too long, only about two seconds. When you use the burst mode the camera will take pictures every 0.8 second.

In addition to USB connectivity, Canon also offers HDMI connection so you can connect this camera directly to the television to see the results of its recording high definition. No wonder if the Good Gear Guide strongly recommends this digital camera for sale with a price of US$ 389. This site only matters of the flash light position that risks closed by hand during the operation.
